The Lord has said Intelligence is light and truth. I have no proof, But it seems to me That is how we came to be. A spark of light eons ago Became a spirit child of God. Born of our Eternal Father And Heavenly Mother too. With Them we did live Until we were sent to earth Into this mortal life to by birth. All that went before we did forget, On our path we were set To find our way back to Him. Within us is that same light, The Light of Christ, To tell us wrong from from right. Along the way we would sin Unable to return to Him again. But there was a plan, All the human race to span. |
A Savior our Father did provide To suffer, bleed, and die That we may cross the great divide. Mercy, Grace, and Justice too Do combine to save me and you If we chose to follow Him And return once again To our Heavenly home With our loved ones Who came before And those yet to come, When our live is o’er To inherit the mansions Where we will dwell. For this is His work and glory To bring to pass our immortality And eternal life In His Kingdom free from strife, To be an heir with His Son and hear Him say, My good and faithful servant, Well done! |
