I have read this entire series, books 1-10. These books are entertaining, inspiring and a wonderful story beginning to end. I couldn't put them down. The last few I read in about a week, wanting to get to the end to see what happens. I HIGHLY recommend this series of books. Gordon is a wonderful story teller and does his research. It's a terrific story. Life has its many twists and turns and this story us no different.
I have read the first two [volumes] and enjoyed them and connected with the characters. You did a great job at connecting me to their love story. Enjoyed your writing. Great to meet you. |

Balancing Faith, Family, and Career Flyboy Volume 1 | ![]() and iTunes ![]() |
The best advice Sheffield “Curly” Brason ever got came from his father when he was a young man. Said his father, “The trick is balancing your faith, family, and career. What you do isn't who you are. It’s the means to an end, not the end itself. Who you are is what you make of your core values and convictions.”
Curly set his priorities accordingly. By putting his faith in God, everything else fell into place. Next came Geannie, the love of his life, followed by his career which combined his love for flying and his love for country. As Curly and Geannie faced the challenges of life together, their faith in God and devotion to each other gave them the strength to get through their challenges and difficulties as well as the good times of the 1920s. Dangling from a parachute, Curly watched his plane and that of his wingman spiral into the sea, the result of a midair collision. Coming down not far from the wreckage, he swam to it and held on. His wingman having gone down with his plane, Curly is in perilous circumstances adrift alone in the Pacific Ocean somewhere off the coast of Panama. Will it be enough now, or would Geannie be left a widow?
