Deep beneath the surface of the earth
The healing waters have percolated
In soothing minerals of great worth
since this world was first created.
Now after millenniums of steeping
they are bound together as one
and from the ground are seeping
bubbling and steaming it does run.
In the beginning man to was formed
From the very self same elements
Making up the world on which we stand
Beginning with our very first parents.
Is it no wonder the healing water
Is able to restore the damage done
When life has its wear and tear
At least for what I have going on.
My nerves have lost their protection
And a long therapeutic soak
In the healing waters are my rejuvenation
By rebuilding my nerves cloak.
Sitting there by myself unencumbered
By the distractions all about me
I get relief for days that are numbered
By absorbing it into my body.
Oh the relief it is for the time it lasts.
I am steady, calm, and stable for a while
Until the effect wears off or hit by a blast
Then I’m in for yet another trial.
Then once again it’s time for me to go
To the place where the healing waters flow.
