The promises of the Lord are sure, Just as sure as the Living Water pure. All these many years He has held me in His hand, Has wiped away my tears, It’s His footprints in the sand. My sins He will forgive, When I like Him strive to live. I long for His return in glory That we may know all that was, is, and is to be. My faith and trust in Him are complete, I shall not know more When I kneel at His feet, That His suffering for me was sore. Lord, redeem me, sanctify me, Make me whole, That I may return to Thee In body and soul. I have hope that with my children and dear wife We may have joy and Eternal life, That in Christ I may be an heir To all that Thou hast and to spare. |
